14 Years of Expats in Romania Celebration!

Fourteen years ago, I had the pleasure of founding the French Meetup alongside Livia Butac. We began with bi-weekly meetups (sometimes even three times a month) and connected with incredible people along the way. A special thank you to Livia, Andreea, and Silvy for their immense support! Along with so many others that I have met en route.

As time passed, our French Meetup evolved into an international gathering, welcoming many of our English-speaking friends. This transition led to the formation of the Expats in Romania community, where we’ve enjoyed numerous joint events with the Spanish-speaking and French-speaking community. It’s been a joy to see familiar faces at these meetups!
